About the Role
Baw Baw Shire Council is seeking a proven leader to manage its high-performing Tree Maintenance Team to achieve safe and best practice tree maintenance techniques within its urban areas.

Overseeing daily operations, key tree maintenance contracts, and ensuring ongoing compliance with Council’s Electric Line Clearance obligations are major aspects of the role.

About the Successful Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have
  • Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent with relevant experience, or lesser formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience;
  • Current Victorian Drivers' Licence;
  • Experience supporting team members and teams to guarantee the achievement of individual and/or team goals;
  • Extensive experience in planning, organising and costing works; and
  • Experience in a wide range of arboriculture and/or horticultural activities in the municipal or a related field.
